The Germany duo of IlkayGundogan and Florian Neuhaus were on target for their respective clubs on the way to a positive result on Friday night. Ex-Borussia Dortmund midfielder Gundogan scored in the second half to help Manchester City beat Swindon Town of League Two in the FA Cup, while Neuhaus was the recipient of one of the goals in the impressive 2-1 win at the home of German champions and Champions League favourites Bayern Munich.

Premier League champions Manchester City have been hit by Covid-19 cases with seven players self-isolating plus manager Pep Guardiola and several backroom staffs but they still managed to name a strong starting XI for their FA Cup tie at Swindon Town. The likes of Germany national team star IlkayGundogan, Belgian international playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Portugal international Bernardo Silva were in the starting line-up.
